Flashback Friday

Obviously this is a really old picture… And it would have looked a lot better on the scan if it had not been oval… when that’s all there is, I guess I can’t be choosy. but anyway it is of my parents when they got engaged.  I know it is a little bit weird that they aren’t together anymore, but it’s all part of my history.  Plus I think it’s always interesting to see what other people’s parents look like.

And since we are scanning really old pictures, here is another picture of my family before my sister was born:

  1. I love old pictures. There’s a romance to them and it fun to see a little slice of history captured.

  2. I love old pics too. I wish I had a scanner, so I could download all my old negative’s and pictures. Then my flashback fridays would be better, I always enjoy yours. You were such a cute little girl.

  3. It is really interesting to see what your parents looked like at your age. You guys make a cute family – you were a very cute kid, too!

  4. Your mom looks gorgeous in both pictures – even after having a baby in the 2nd picture (I secretly hate her!) just kidding! You take after your mom a lot. You look a lot like your dad too – you just take on his unmasculine qualities! Your face in the 2nd picture is priceless. It is the kind of look that says, “you mean I am not an only child anymore?!” :)
