Happy Birthday Carly

Filed under: projects — Jana @ 8:10 am

My sister Carly turned 20 today.

I sent her this wee wonderful softie, some nail polish, and a big bag of skittles. This is my second attempt at making a softie. Anything creative about it was probably a stolen idea from Eve.

Don’t forget the bunny tail.

Here is my first attempt, it is a bear but when I showed it to my brother he said it looked like a devil. I am obviously still new at this whole sewing thing.

  1. You are always doing something creative, it seems! I’m jealous of your mad sewing skills. I think Carly looks older than me, even though I turn 21 this year. Must be because she looks like a California babe just like you.

  2. How cute are those! I’m bowing in worship for your rapidly improving skills. Mine are so slow in development!

  3. I dig the matching outfits. It reminds me of back in grade school, planning my outfits with friends – I loved it! I especially like the shoes on the softie – great touch. :)

  5. Gotcha – I figured it was for a special occasion! Did you see my response (finally) to your Flashback Friday? I just saw it yesterday.

  6. I second the mad skills motion. You need a name to go with your super-human craft alter ego. Both softies are really cute! Gwen was so excited about the blanket you made. You’re amazing!
