Here is another finished project…

Yeah I know you are surprised at what an amazing knitter I am… Oh wait, something is not right here.

Here is the keyhole cap sleeve tee that I have been working on FOR OVER A WEEK! Or what’s left of it. Yeah doesn’t look too good does it. Yep I had to frog it. I was dumb and didn’t check the gauge and got about half way through it and realized it was huge. So not much to show for…for a whole freaking week wasted.  I guess that’s why I was using practice yarn. Because I need some major practice before I commit to some nice expensive yarn. I am still a major rookie at knitting and am constantly making similar mistakes.  Oh well, I think I will make some more small projects before I try this one again, I need some instant gratification right about now.

  1. We’ve all been there, at least you stopped before you hit monstrous poportions. I have a friend, who owns a sweater I knit, that he & his wife can wear at the same time.

  2. Frog it? I didn’t know there was knitting slang. I may not know how to knit, but at least now I’m learning the lingo. :) I’m sure your next try will go much better.

  3. Yeah there is all kinds of knitting words that I never knew until I started reading knitting books. Frogging comes from when you are unraveling the sweater or whatever and you are going “rip it, rip it” and it sounds like “ribit, ribit” like a frog. Weird huh.
