part 4

Filed under: carmen, family — Jana @ 6:00 am

My extended family reunion was really fun. We started with lunch and a presentation about our grandparents and great grandparents. Then we headed back to my Grandma’s house where a water fight broke out (which I stayed inside for, thank goodness). My grandma never ceases to go all out for this kind of stuff.

There was a sponge bob jumping house for the kids. And they also rented a dunk tank.
I tried to dunk Lee but you have to be able to throw really hard and mine just kind of bounced off. Don’t worry someone did eventually dunk him though.

There was a family band where they rocked out for a while, which was really good…the drummer was amazing.

Then Carmen ate more Popsicles…

And uncle Ryan wanted to share too…

It was really fun and we did get to eat at most of the great restaurants we wanted to, so that was good!  We even went to Taste of Europe,(its a crepe place) most of them are going out of business which makes them hard to find. They make really good crepes, so I’ll be sad if they all go under.  Yeah can you tell I like to eat?

Well anyway that about sums up most of our trip…I did get to go into the sketchiest bathroom in the west on the way home from Utah, but I’ll spare you the details.

  4. I love crepes too! When I went to Europe, I bought one like everyday. They are a lot bigger it seems over there, though. Mmmmmm. Now I’m craving crepes!

  7. Did the bathroom involve two toilets but only one stall? Because I’ve used that one.
