We’re ok

Filed under: knitting, me — Jana @ 7:41 pm

We got the tire fixed and it was the problem so, luckily, it was smooth sailing for the rest of the trip.  Carmen did puke one more time when we got there, but I caught it in time and she was over the sink.  And it was only gatorade so I didn’t have to deal with any more chunkage.  Thanks for all the comments, you guys definately lightened my spirit.

Our trip has been very relaxing so far, all we’ve been doing is sitting on the porch in the country and relaxing.  Plus We’ve got some cafe rio in our bellies so we are living happy.  I have also gotten to knit a ton which is awesome.  I have finished two more dish rags, which you will probably never see because I am going aution them off at the family reunion.  One is lemon lime colors and one is orange creamsicle colors.  Now, I am going to start on a sweater for Carmen.  I am going to do a california sweater though.  I am going to do vestee from the knitty site, which is a short sleeve sweater.  I am going to do it with a hood in a really light fluffy pinkish yarn.  We’ll see how it turns out.

We are headed up to Idaho tomorrow.  Lee is really excited to golf with his brothers.  I will be excited if I can keep Carmen occupied so I can KNIT!  Why am I so addicted to knitting?  It is therapy for me, I think.  It calms my OCD.  The yarns are so addicting.  I just love it.

  4. Its good to hear you have some kick-back time after a hellacious drive. While you’re knitting, you might wanna knit up some booties for Eve because she’s in LABOR!!!! WOOO HOOO!!
