Just cute…

Filed under: carmen — Jana @ 6:09 am

Carmen is growing up so fast and she is constantly making me laugh.

Whenever she spills something or breaks something she says “CAR…MIE!” In the exact same tone I say “CAR…MEN” when I catch her spilling or breaking something. It’s hard to stay mad when she calls herself Carmie.

She also loves to pretend like she is talking on cell phones. She puts them up to her ear and says “Hewhoa” and “Ok, bye”. But lately she has picked up “Wassup” Which is pretty humorous to hear a 18 month old say.

The other day I was really trying to teach her please and thank you. We were in the kitchen making dinner, the conversation went a little like this:

Carmen: (with hand outstreached for food) “Pease, Pease, pease”

Me: (I give her a piece of food)

Carmen:

Me: “say thank you”

Carmen: “Gank ou”

Me: “Your welcome”

Carmen: “Pease, Pease, Pease”

Me: ( I give her another piece)

Carmen:

Me: “Say thank you”

Carmen: “Welcome.”

  3. I love babies when they are grasping the meaning of words. She is so cute and I can just think of her cute little voice saying “wassup!”
