Guilty Pleasures

Filed under: food, me, the office — Jana @ 10:56 pm

Indulge with me:

  • The Hillz ( or any other show on MTV for that matter)
  • Pictures of Jim anywhere; whether it be magazines, gap adds, or post it notes
  • I heart jim 002 (thanks Wendy)

  • French bread ( I used to only ever buy 100% whole wheat bread, but I have gone over to the dark side…’er light side…I guess.)
  • Snapea crisps… Actually I don’t feel guilty about these… they are just addicting. Although when I made my husband try one, his exact words were “I don’t want no pea flavored Cheeto!” which made me giggle. (I got them at trader joe’s if anyone is brave enough to try them.)
  • Snapeacrisps_bags

And Last but certainly not least… this guilty pleasure has kept me from blogging for the past week

I know it is totally high school, and I should feel more guilty about loving it so much… but it’s so freaking addicting. Wendy even promised herself she would not blog about it since it is on just about every blog you click on, but I know she loves it as much as I do. And Chantel already blogged about how much she loves Edward. I am indebted to her now because with out her talking it up so much, I don’t think I ever would have bought into a book about Vampires being good. But it is. So, if there is a soul left on the planet who hasn’t already read it, pick it up ladies…It will make you swoon like a love sick teenager.

  1. I was just thinking we needed a post over here! Those snapeas look good – I’ll have to try them out. French bread is a much better choice than most white breads, don’t feel too guilty.

I am super sad The Hills finale is next week. :(

  2. I am one of those who has not yet dived into those vampire books. But your right every blog has a post about them. One day when I have a spare moment maybe I’ll try and read them. I really want to after all the raving about them.

  4. I just started the first book so don’t give anything away. I would never have read a book about vampires either, but my friend Amber made me start, so we’ll see…

  6. Thanks for the tip about swell.com They have some great stuff, and I think I finally decided on a bag from there.

  7. Hooray for a new post! I totally watch The Hills too…! I thought I was the only one. Brent loves to make fun of it. Brody is hot. And so who is done with the first vampire book and wants to let me borrow it? Jana? Wendy? I’d love to read it over the holidays.

  8. Did you finish the ENTIRE SERIES?! Wow! I’m diving into New Moon since we couldn’t squeeze in more than a chapter during the drive to Utah. I have really needy kids sometimes! It was pure torture!

  9. I’m so glad to see you back on the blog scene!! I was so bummed everytime I’d check and there was nothing. Okay, as for the TWILIGHT series, I couldn’t put the books down and read all three in a week and a half. They are so freakin’ AWESOME!!! I absolutely love Edward too. I was in a state of numbness when I finished the last book and I couldn’t get them out of my mind. I can’t wait for the next book. It’s killing me!! I never thought I’d love a vampire book soooo much.

  10. I am starting to think that it would be difficult to find a girl that hasn’t read the Twilight series. Even one is getting hooked…or should I say sucked into it? ha ha. I definately agree though. I barrowed the books from Britani and loved them.

  11. I totally was a Hills fan until I found out it was scripted and then I was bummed. I should have known that it was anyways! As for twilight ….LOVE IT!! I have tried to not blog about it also. But how can you not fall in love with Edward. Bella has been casted in the movie and I can’t wait to see who they get for Edward. He better be dang hot!!

  12. I had no idea that you and Gwen were into Twilight. I was completely useless for at least a month while I read and re-read them. Ridiculous…but would I do it again…YES! As for french bread, I’m with you 100%. My diet right now is made up of french bread and butterscotch pudding. So bad for you, but oh so good.
