Licorice beanie

Filed under: knitting — Jana @ 6:00 am

I finished the beanie I was making for Carmen… It is a little too big for her, but luckily she will grow into it. That is, if I don’t auction it or give it away as a gift first. I have a tendency to do that. We don’t have a whole lot of my knitted creations around here because I always want to give them to people. Not to mention it is California, and too hot to wear wool most of the time.

I want to make one for me too out of this licorice yarn, but I have to wait until the bigger needles I ordered come in the mail.

  1. I love that! Carmen is beautiful in that picture.

  2. Ha! I just saw the comment that you did these posts last week and then post dated them for while you were gone… That is so funny. I wondered what you were doing posting about knitting while you were in Hawaii! Thanks for thinking of us back home :) I love the hat. Carmen looks like a babe. I love beanies, I wish we had a chance to wear them more here.
