More of the same

Filed under: carmen, friends, knitting — Jana @ 2:09 pm

I haven’t blogged in a while because I only blog a repetitive cycle of the same stuff: knitting and Disneyland… Ok so I do that stuff a lot, but it’s not all I do. And since I don’t think you want to see pictures of me doing the laundry, or of me and Carmen having a cold, here is more knitting and (just to change it up) California Adventure.

I finished the adult size licorice beanie.

I put a little bill on it for some spunk.

…………

Here is Wendy and me on the Tower of terror. She is smiling because she’s riding her favorite ride, I am smiling so I don’t pee my pants from fright. (you can’t see the white knuckle grip I have on the handles, while she sits with her hands around her knees the entire time.)

Here is Carmen and one of her best friend’s Belle, they insist on holing hands the wrong way all the time… and then trying to walk like that.

C is for Carmen.

Welp, I think this blog qualifies me for another 2 weeks of no posts at all, I mean there is so much content here, it will probably take you all two weeks to read it anyway… Right?

Ok ok, so I’ll try to post a little more, but I can’t make any promises.

  1. I know i’ve said it before but your little camera is so good at assessing the correct colors and balance, your pictures always look so good.

Also, I don’t think I realized that you were actually scared on that ride! that makes me giggle. Also, that doesn’t really look like you… I think i’m riding with AUJ. (alternate universe Jana.)

  2. I have missed you! Thanks for blogging again and do it again soon! The beanie is so cute and I love that Carmen is holding hands with her friend.

  3. I agree, that doesn’t look like you on Tower of Terror! Weird… are you sure it wasn’t a stand in? Too bad you didn’t get a picture of me and Jake attempting to ride with you. That would’ve been interesting…

And you look hot in those beanie pictures. I need a hot beanie. And seriously, did your phone take those pictures? They look really good! The color looks awesome. Love the C picture. I’ll have to do a D picture for Danny next time. No J for Jake I guess. Oh well.

  4. I’m secretly coveting your beanie. But then again, you make anything look hot! Nice work! And I’ll for sure catch the next Disneyland train with you all.

  5. You and Wendy look cute in that Tower of Terror picture. Did you guys get Disneyland passes? If you did we should to together sometime. And hey did you call me the other day. I saw that I missed a call from you but there was no message?

  6. I agree on the hotness in the beanie pictures, as well as the AUJ in the Tower of Terror pic.

Carmen and Isabelle are too cute.

  7. I love your beanie!! I would totally buy it in the store. And, I freakin’ hate that ride! My boys made me get on it last time we were in Disneyland, and I couldn’t stand up without my legs shaking for a good half-hour after. You’re brave… and Wendy’s nuts! :)

  8. So can I put in my December Birthday order now? I freakin’ love the beanie. You are so talented. It looks like Belle and Carmen have a great time together…like mother(s), like daughter(s). :)
