Memory Tag

Filed under: me — Jana @ 9:06 am

I got this from a bunch of people’s blogs, and I have been threatened (politely) that I better do it myself.  But anyway I am excited to hear what people remember about me.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments.

  1. Oh Jana… You so funny! I just read your memories of me and I was peeing my pants! I forgot all about the “mexi-donald’s” till just now. Poor little Wyatt! My best memories of you also come from Lake Powell! You were such a blast to hang out with (and so nice to hang out with the old folks like us). The funniest memory is when Mike forgot to put the plug in the boat, and we were in the middle of the lake and it started filling up with water, and I thought there was a snake in the built in cooler in the floor because it was moving (remember Bryce found a dead snake in his boat the day before), So Mike tells us all to bail and he took off for the the shore without even giving us a second to think about it. We all “baywatched” our butts off that boat, and Mike beached that sucker so far up the shore that I didnt’ think we’d be able to get it back in the water! You definitley made Lake Powell a fun place to be! Thanks for reminding me! Ahhhh… the memories!

  2. I just remembered that you were there for the SWAT raid we did on the other houseboat too! Remember I thought I was gonna be so clever and wear a dry suit so I wouldn’t get cold. I jumped off the boat, trying to swim to shore and all I could to was bob around like a stay puff marshmallow. We need to do that again!

  3. Seriously, so many memories. My favorite memory was when we met at a Girl’s Camp thing. You and I hung out the whole time like we had been best friends for years and knew each other so well. Too bad you actually came with Hayley – how’s she doing, do you know? Yes, Lake Powell time is some of the best times. Too bad you and Rodney never worked out or we would be relatives right now! I remember Halloween times a couple of years – dressing up as fly girls and then as the girl from Legend (sort of). How about Libby, wow, I totally forgot when you dated him. And Nick Cleaver, I really miss Nick, he was a nice kid. Do you remember how burnt his feet got at Powell? It hurts me just thinking about it. I also remember getting dressed up at my house – what we thought was so cute back then, just makes me laugh. I also remember cruisin’ in the Mazda and the Honda – and then when we moved onto the Chevy and the Nissan and the we thought we were hot chickies, cruisin down the street with our Eve & Missy thumpin’! I really could go on forever and I totally miss those days. Thanks for being such a great friend and supplying such awesome memories.

  4. Libby – whoa I forgot you dated him. Remember when we had a big sleepover at his house. And everyone threw up. Subway was fun too. Wasn’t Clint a brat? And you really think I brought a gun to the river? I don’t know how my dad would have let that happen.
