Here is my little dinosaur and hotdog on halloween.

Carmen was super stoked for Halloween this year.  As soon as I put her costume on she started chasing me around the house saying “Rrrawr!”  and wouldn’t stop until I was saying “Ah, Ah don’t eat me!”  She loved the trick or treating, Even in the huge cumbersome costume.  It made her look so cute when she was walking around with the chubby belly and huge dinosaur head. Here is another angle just so you can see the sheer magintude of this thing…

Even when it got so heavy that her head was starting to droop to the side, she still didn’t want to quit.  The only meltdown of the night happend when Wendy’s next door neighbor told her that he’d run out of candy and tried to give her a dollar instead. She thought that was just about the worst thing ever and started to cry saying “I want candy.” in this pitiful little voice.  She just could not understand why this guy wouldn’t just cough up the goods like everybody else… Oh to be two years old.

It was a super fun holiday to be a mom, and I can’t wait until next year.

  1. My question is: why did the guy open the door when he had no candy? Turn the lights out and call it a night! That could get expensive.

  3. I can’t believe that she wouldn’t take money. Tristan would try and probably milk them for more. I love the costumes – so cute.

  7. That costume is so huge and awesome! The guy could have at least given her a quarter. I mean, everyone knows dollar bills are just paper! But coins! Coins are big swallowable no nos! :)

  8. I definitely think that Holidays will be more exciting when we have kids of our own. Jordan was a party-pooper. We stayed home and had 3 Trick-or-Treaters knock on our door. Needless to say, we had a lot of candy leftover. Too bad Carmen couldn’t knock on our door instead of on the house that was out of candy. :-)
