baby blessing number 2

Filed under: me — Jana @ 10:30 pm

Moseley was blessed on mothers day.  It really was so nice to spend mother’s day celebrating our new little boy with a bunch of people we love.

Every body loves the grandmas.  And my sister with her baby bump.

‘Cause it’s not a baby blessing without some screamin’.

Don’t judge… We have super early church, so I was looking a little (and by that I mean extremely) tired.  And, let’s be honest, it just takes a lot longer to bounce back from the second baby.

Both Grandpa and Grandma made it to this one.

Moseley was such a trooper that day, he was starving (cant you tell?), yet he still sat like a perfect little gentleman through all the picture taking.

I just think this picture of Carmen looking at Moseley is funny.

Me, the babe, and my dad.

Still smiling, even after big sister gave him a big whack on the face with her elbow accidentally.  She and uncle Josh were playing “monster”.  Aunt Carly felt so bad that it happened while she was holding him that she was sobbing… umm pregnant… yes. Totally not her fault, that’s the breaks that come with growing up with siblings, but it really was so sweet how attached she is to her nephew.  I thought it was sweet when she told me that his quiet little cry really “effects” her.

Here he is rockin’ out the little knit blessing outfit that my mom got for all the future grand baby boys to wear. So cute!  He is laying on the awesome quilt Lee’s mom made for him.

Here is the spread we had for lunch afterwards.

You don’t say no to an invitation to our house, unless you don’t like fresh baked goodies.  I rarely don’t like to pull out all the stops in the food department.

Then we went down to the beach to watch the sunset, and let the Utah and Idaho folks at least put their feet in the surf.

  3. Sooo cute – I love pictures and it’s so fun to see the differences between Carmen & Mose. I love Carmen’s little short jumper/hoodie (whatever it is, it’s way cute). PS – The food looks AWESOME – pregnant lady talking!!!

  4. Okay, your mom is awesome. Both Carmen and Moseley’s blessing outfits are right up my alley. I have been scouring the internet/ etsy forever trying to find the right knit blessing outfit for baby.

  9. I love these two posts! First off, it pains me to see how beautiful you are. It just reminds me that I have alot lot lot of work left to do to look acceptable let alone anything like you. Second, what cute stinkin’ kids. I love Moses blessing outfit. I thought you might have knitted it yourself with all of your serious talent. Last, all of these pictures really made me miss you guys. Seriously, we only live like 6 hours from each other. Lets pretend like it’s really easy to do things and like we don’t have two kids a piece and get together soon. Mk?

  10. It was such fun to be with you and stay that extra day. So worth it! Moseley, luckily was comfy in the little stretched tight little number. It does look like something you could make, for sure.
He’s just what you needed. A little cool cucumber. Carmen’s such a beautiful little character, too. We love and miss you. Thanks for sharing the pictures and stories.I have a “new” big “Jottie” doll… so the imaginary friends can come to life at Grandma’s. :)

  11. I love his little outfit! I always wondered what you put boys in (I have seen quite a few in girly dresses and felt bad for them!) but he looks very handsome! The food looks super good. Its a good thing we live thousands of miles away or we’d be at your place for every celebration and probably 10 pounds heavier….

  13. Bounce back?? Whatever, you look awesome!
So I jsut wanted to let you know that your etsy site inspired me, like a year ago, to start one up for the neckties I’d been making for my own little boy…and I finally did it! Totally have no idea what i’m doing, but hey, i’ll give it a whirl!
So just know you have inspired someone else to create!
