Carmen was a homemade tinkerbell fairy thing.  Not my best work… but she still looked pretty cute.

Here she was for her preschool party:

100_0108I really liked the eyelashes… which she yanked off 5 minutes after she got to school.

We carved some “punkins”.  Carmen’s was tinkerbell of course, and I made Moseley’s a pac man inspired jack-o-lantern.

We headed up to Huntington for the Black’s Halloween party.  We forgot the green eyelashes so Carmen shared some of Kaia’s orange ones.

Look how awesome that gnome is.  And the pic doesnt even do it justice, because you cant see Kardiff’s swagger while he was wearing it.  Cutest thing ever.

Of course the night of Halloween Carmen wanted to match Kaia, and wouldn’t wear her green shirt, only the black “underneath” one.  Whatever.

Here is Carmen holding up my adorable little shark… in all his rolly glory.

Ah… that dimple!

Mose didn’t really get the trick’r treating thing. And I mean, how scary can you be when you are strapped into a stroller covered with a blanket?

However, when we got back home and the kids all dumped out their candy to survey the goods, he got to roll around in it like it was money.

He was making all the kids so mad by putting all their candy in his mouth with the wrappers on.

Yeah. put a nice camera in my hand, and the only thing I can get in focus is the bucket.  Fail.

Oh well, someday I will learn how to use a real camera… Until then I will leave the picture taking up to my talented friends.

  1. Aw Carmen was the prettiest Tinkerbell fairy thing i saw on Halloween! and DUDE – that dimple, you are right. i was excited to see Mose sporting his infamous baby legs and a little bit more hair! and that preschool group pic is awesome! did you take that? Ryan is hugging Danny!? ha. and he is a foot taller than anyone else. he looks like a displaced second grader.

ps – thanks Auntie Jana for making LJ’s tutu. your contribution to her Halloween cuteness was MAJOR. :)

  2. Love those lashes. Doesn’t it suck when we can’t get them to do whatever we want for Halloween anymore? Independence shmindependence.

  3. haha! i had those green polka dot eye lashes too! i was “mother nature”
mom dressed me before we went out to our halloween parties. We stayed at her house and I didnt have the energy (plus it was my first real day of PMS…dont remember ever having it previous) and she just had a hay day putting a vine crown on me, and such. Carmen and Kaia looked cute matching, and that gnome is freakin awesome!!! and Mose looks scrumptious as ever. Cant wait to see you guys in a few weeks! its gunna be a full hizzouse.

  5. I love your pumpkins…mine were pretty sweet this year I have to admit…but you win for originality on the Pac man one. Is Mose crawling?? He looks like he’s ready for it. I NEED BABY LEGS!

  6. Your kids are adorable. I can’t believe you were even able to get her to hold still long enough to put those eyelashes on in the first place! That in itself would count as a major victory in my book. My favorite pic is the one of Mosely in the stroller looking “thrilled” as you put it. He is such a stud.
