soaking up the summer

Since the summer is almost over we have been trying to soak up as much of the sun as possible, so it can get us through the long cold winter…HA ha ha. Actually I am really looking forward to the kids going back to school again, because then the public pool turns into our private pool again. And we go to the pool long into November. But we have been going to the pool and the beach a lot lately, so here are my favorite pictures from the week.

I just like this one because Carmen’s honey colored hair looks so pretty against the silver clouds.

Then I like this one because Carmen is driving her toy car over her body and just by looking at this picture I can hear her sound effects going “vroom vroom”.

And I finally got a shot of the whole family at the beach, which I never remember to do, so I was excited…I just wish I could get Carmen to smile for a picture every now and then.
